SPITMAAN® Metal Jacketed Gaskets are produced in several types to meet the requirements of the most demanding applications.
Material available are as follows:
- Stainless Steel
- Monel®

- Highly resistant against blow-out.
Types |
Single Jacketed Gaskets |
The filler material is enclosed in a metal jacket which covers the inside and outside diameter of the gasket |
Single Jacketed A |
Style A has one of its contact surfaces covered and is ideally suited for comparatively narrow flanges widths in circular and non-circular configurations.
Single Jacketed B |
Style B is an overlapped single jacketed gasket, where the filler is completely enclosed on the inside and outside diameters and on both contact surfaces
Double Jacketed Gaskets |
Double Jacketed A |
Double Jacketed B |
Double Jacketed B is similar to Double Jacketed A with the exception that the metal jacket is formed from a corrugated jacket providing better resilience than Style A |
Double Jacketed C |
Double Jacketed C is a double shell gasket constructed of two reversed wrap-round shells. This provides superior flange support and handleability and provides better resistance to higher pressures. |
