Description

The Spitmaan Kamprofile  gasket is comprised of a concentric serrated solid metal core with a soft, conformable sealing material bonded to each face. The soft facing material provides low stress gasket seating, while the serrated geometry of the metal core enhances sealing performance by inducing stress concentrations on the sealing surfaces. The serrations minimise lateral movement of the facing material, while the metal core provides rigidity and blowout resistance. The Spiitmaan gasket exhibits excellent compressibility and recovery characteristics, maintaining joint tightness under pressure and temperature fluctuations, temperature differential across the flange face, flange rotation, bolt stress relaxation, and creep. Suitable for vacuum to extremely high pressure application

Applications include Oil Refineries, Chemical, Petrochemical, Marine, Power Plants, Pulp, Pipelines, Pressure vessels on steam, metallurgical, nuclear, and hydraulic plants including heat exchangers

Suitable for standard ASME B 16.20a:1994,ASME B 16.5,ASME B16.5 Series A(MSS- SP 44),ME B16.5 Series B(ASME B16.47 supersedes API 605),IS 7719:2013,DIN & JIS flanges 

Non-standard dimensions Ø10 mm up to Ø3500 mm 

Non-circular manholes, handholes, tubecaps and plugs for boilers and vessels
